How well do you know your boundaries?
Do you know what your personal and professional boundaries are? It's an issue that comes up frequently in coaching conversations, especially when clients are feeling overstretched and stressed.

10 years on

Valentine’s Day has a different significance to me than the usual one - it’s the day in 2006 that my business PurpleLine Consulting was incorporated as a limited company. So now we’re 10!

What are you building?

Recently I visited the Art of the Brick exhibition in London. A series of fascinating works by artist Nathan Sawaya, all built out of Lego bricks.

It's that time of year

Recently I asked my daughter Zoe what she wanted for Christmas. She screwed up her face like she always does when I ask her something she doesn't want to hear, and said "I don't know, Mum. If I want something I buy it myself."

Choose a word for 2014

For the past 3 years I have chosen a word to guide me for the year. It's an idea I got from Ali Edwards, an inspiring designer, blogger and author I follow.

It's that time of year again...

... when you've got a bit more time than usual and have the opportunity to look back at how 2013 was for you and consider what you'd like 2014 to bring.
