A recipe for success with competency-based interview questions

I've had experience of interviewing for a huge variety of roles over the years.  The style and techniques may have changed but the objective is the same - to recruit the person with the closes fit in terms of skills and attitude to do the job effectively.  And it's a great feeling when you do.

Where are you going with your career?

Looking back on my own career I had no grand plan.  In fact it faltered at the first hurdle, when I dropped out of uni after the first year.  All I knew was that I wanted to speak French every day in my work and that I wanted to be 'in charge'!
